He is a graduate of Hamilton College and Albany Law School (Law Review). He was associated with Cooper, Erving, Savage, Whalen, Nolan & Heller (Albany), and partners in Brown, Peterson, Craig & Thomas (Ballston Spa), Peterson & Thomas, P.C. (Round Lake) and Miller, Mannix, Schachner & Hafner, LLC (Glens Falls). He is admitted to practice before the NYS Supreme Court, U.S. District Courts for the Northern and Southern Districts of New York. He served as Town Attorney for the Town of Malta for 20 years and Village Attorney for the Village of Round Lake for over 30 years.
